GOALS & PURPOSES

Pioneer Preschool joyfully welcomes all children regardless of race, color, sex, religion, national origin, or disability into a Christian environment of caring, loving, and learning. This will be demonstrated by example and teaching that enhances good self-esteem and respect for all people.

The primary goal of Pioneer Preschool is to prepare each child for Kindergarten by encouraging their development through purposeful and intentional experiences which promote our philosophy that children learn best through play, whether teacher directed or child inspired. Children display more confidence, a curiosity about the world around them, and a love for school and learning and enter kindergarten ready for success.

Our Christian emphasis is developed by creating a loving, nurturing, environment that is enhanced by meal time prayer, good role models, and a celebration of the Christian holidays.

GYM TIME – Children think of our full-sized gymnasium as a great place to run and play with their friends every day at school. This space is utilized to develop the gross motor skills that are age-appropriate, using the balance beam, climbing equipment, parachute, balls, riding toys, and tunnels and so much more!

  • Large Occupational Play Units monthly in our full sized gym!

  • Our outside classroom is full of learning opportunities including a large sandbox,  mud kitchen, outside planting beds, a water table, an outdoor easel, with paints and crayons-even some drums for all our aspiring artists!

  • Our new outdoor playground

So many ways to play, learn and grow together!

MISSION PROJECTS

Children and families are invited to participate in various mission projects. Some of our favorite ways to share God’s love is through the post-Halloween candy drive, the Thanksgiving food drive, and the Christmas Mitten tree.
